Beautiful pipe lamps

Beaven Mutapati is a crafter based in Cape Town who makes beautiful and unique lamps of african art works and patterns like the flowers in the photograph, using recycled (PVC) pipes. He cuts with various motifs and all the creations are done by hand, and makes lamps of 30 cm to 100cm in height and 20cm by 20cm for the base. Recycled Venetian Blind Chandelier - beautiful

I found this chandelier in the google world this morning and it's lovely - called Blindshine - it surely saved the venetian blinds from becoming landfill rubbish, also the top base is an old Tupperware lid - rad. The designer Christine Lupo wants others to be inspired to look at the possibilities of objects before they throw it away.
